2.1. Materials
Tetraethylorthosilicate (TEOS), ethanol, Na2CO3, ammonia solution (25–28%) and are purchased from Sinopharm Chemical Reagent Co. Octadecyltrimethoxysilane (designated as C18TMS),horseradish peroxidase (denoted as HRP, from horseradish root), 3-(p-hydroxyphenyl)propionic acid (denoted as HPPA) and d-alanineare purchased from Sigma–Aldrich Co. LLC. d-Amino acid oxidase(fromTrigonopsis variabilis, 5 unit mg−1)is obtained from Hengyuan Bitechnology Co. Ltd. RPMI 1640 medium and fetal bovine serum (FBS) are purchased from Gibco (USA). Ultrapure water is used in the cell experiment.
